User data deletion

What we delete

• Your ReelPortfolio account (email, login, profile, and settings)
• Portfolio content you added, including imported Instagram work stored on ReelPortfolio
• Instagram connection details we stored (user ID, username, and access token)
• Enquiries and messages tied to your account, except records we must keep by law

What this does not delete

• Your Instagram account or posts on Instagram. Those stay on Meta’s platforms.
• Content already copied by brands or shown in emails, screenshots, or search caches.
• Backup copies, which we remove or anonymise within 90 days.

Delete it yourself

1. Sign in to ReelPortfolio.
2. Disconnect Instagram from Integrations in your dashboard if it is connected. Existing imported work stays until you delete it or request full deletion.
3. Remove individual work items from Work if you only want those gone.
4. To remove the whole account, email us using the address below.

Revoke Instagram access at Meta

Disconnecting here stops ReelPortfolio from requesting new Instagram data. To also revoke the app inside Instagram:

1. Open Instagram or Facebook settings for Apps and websites.
2. Find ReelPortfolio and remove access.
3. Email us if you also want imported data removed from our servers.

Request deletion by email

Mail us at support@reelportfolio.com. After we verify the request, we delete live account data within 30 days and send a confirmation email.

Include the email on the account, your ReelPortfolio handle, and (if relevant) your Instagram username.
